Introduction to the properties and fundamental behavior materials used by civil engineers with emphasis on concrete, asphalt and steel. Lab experiments are used to demonstrate the behavior or materials subjected to various load levels and orientations. Use of spreadsheets and statistical analysis of experimental data are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lecture, assign homework and administer examinations. Provide lab projects.

Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
