General Description: Manages the Special Projects group and provides hands-on laboratory to relevant projects at the Center for Specialty Programs at Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH). Assists the Director of the Center for Specialty Programs in achieving the science and business strategies and goals. Takes a lead role in preparing science papers/presentations for scientific meetings and in communicating research findings to IFSH stakeholders and industry members. Develops project proposals for funding by industry and government agencies.
