Reporting to the Director, Electronic & Graphic Communications, the Sr. Designer, Communications oversees the design and print production for all Salk collateral materials. Initiates the conceptualization and design of graphic applications, manages logistics for entire print production process and ensures successful project completion. Responsible for the proper brand management and integration of messaging in all printed materials. Provides supervision to the Graphic Designer. Orchestrates the work of multiple external consultants and vendors in consultation with the Director, Electronic and Graphic Communications.
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field, or at least 4 years of training and experience in graphic design for publications and producing collateral printed material for a Communications office/outlet.
Must be willing to work in an animal-related research environment
Able to work a flexible schedule based on workload and deadlines.
Must sign an employee confidentiality agreement.
Satisfactory completion of the Instituteâ™s background investigation.
Access to own transportation for business usage.
