The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is seeking applicants for a Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon Faculty position. Qualified candidates must have completed or be on track to complete an approved Head and Neck Surgical fellowship and be board eligible/board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Experience in all aspects of head and neck surgical oncology is required. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research. Individuals with a background in basic science and/or translational research who have a goal of pursuing a career as a clinician scientist will be most strongly considered.
Responsibilities include participation in an established and robust practice that emphasizes multidisciplinary management of complex head and neck cancer patients. In additional to clinical duties, responsibilities include teaching surgical residents, medical students, and a head and neck surgical fellow in an institution committed to education excellence. Participation in research is encouraged. Academic rank will be commensurate with level of experience. Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with rank and productivity.
