Trinity Christian College seeks a full-time Coordinator of Recruitment and Marketing for the Chicago Semester Program. This is a 10 ½ month position. The Coordinator of Recruitment and Marketing will Work in collaboration with Assistant Director of Recruitment, communications and College Relations to recruit students and build relationships at partner colleges. Strategize innovative communication and marketing/promotional efforts on campuses. Guide program marketing efforts by working collaboratively with staff to shape and develop promotional materials, the program’s social media platforms, and website. Analyze and track website performance.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate collaborative program efforts to recruit students for fall, spring, and summer programs through regular communication, promotion and marketing of the program both in on-campus visits and from the Chicago office.
Work with partner campus representatives to arrange campus visits and implement innovative recruitment efforts for prospective students (i.e., classroom visits, alumni engagement).
Collaborate with staff in working closely with prospective students throughout the recruitment and application process. Create and implement innovative new recruitment tactics.
Collaborate with Assistant Director of Recruitment, Communications and College Relations to advance relationships with supporting and affiliate colleges (currently 27 colleges); assist in pursuing relationships with new colleges by forging networking connections, making introductory visits to campuses, and forming partnerships (average of 5 new college introductions per year).
Organize and promote Chicago Semester Visit Days in conjunction with program staff for prospective students and their families and prospective college partners.
Lead the program’s marketing efforts by working collaboratively with Assistant Director of Recruitment, Communications and College Relations to shape and develop promotional materials, manage website content, provide creative outreach through social media platforms. Analyzing and evaluating marketing efforts and website performance.
Establish and build relationships with recent alumni of the program still attending partner colleges and assist in implementing alumni ambassador program.
Support by assisting Coordinator of Internship Placements and Alumni Engagement in planning alumni engagement events, work with program staff to build alumni engagement, and support Executive Director in building an alumni donor base
Contribute to the program’s fundraising efforts by assisting with annual fundraising event planning.
Support strategic planning initiatives as assigned in the program’s 2018-2021 strategic plan.
Other duties as assigned
A Bachelor’s degree is required and experience working with college students is preferred. Preference for individuals with experience in college-level admissions/recruitment or marketing/sales experience in higher education. Preference for candidates adept at learning new computer technologies and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel), Adobe Programs (InDesign, Forms Central, Illustrator), WordPress, Moodle CMS, and google analytics.
Regular travel, approximately 10-12 weeks a year to college campuses and conferences for recruitment. The employee must also have a valid driver’s license required for regular travel to college campuses.
