The Indiana University School of Medicine – Terre Haute seeks candidates for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery position in the department of Surgery. Responsibilities will include directing and participating in the teaching of Phase 1 Year 2 Understanding Diseases Of Systems (UDOS) course series (Cardiology and Hematology, Renal and Respiratory; GI and Nutrition, Musculoskeletal and Dermatology and Endocrinology and Reproduction); participating in the coordination of the Phase 1 Year 2 course Foundations of the Clinical Practice 2; directing and participating in the teaching of the Transitions 2 course; and organizing and/or participating in the Inter-Professional Education (IPE) sessions .
The successful candidate will have experience in any aspect of Medicine as well as teaching in a medical school curriculum.
PhD, MD or DO with at least 1 year teaching experience in a medical school setting.
