Provides administrative support on a variety of non-routine tasks and initiatives essential to the daily operations and administration of the Executive Degree programs.
Provides administrative support to the Chairperson, Executive Director and professional staff in EDP, assists with arrangements for visitors, makes travel arrangements for chair and staff, and responds to inquiries regarding EDP programs, policies and procedures.
Compiles data and produces reports, ensures data is accurate, complete and up-to-date, assist in developing presentations to various corporate clients or university partners, develop and maintain EDP's yearly academic calendar, assist program managers in developing and maintaining EDP's student handbook and other promotional materials.
Coordinate and schedule monthly staff meetings, order office supplies, assist with any mailings and ensures that mailings are complete. Provides logistical support during the Kelley Immersion Experience and assist in the day-to-day administration of several programs throughout the year. Responsible for logistical and travel arrangements for off-campus conferences, recruitment events and programs that are attended by faculty and professional staff for the Executive Degree Programs.
Responds to prospective and student inquiries and assists with preparation of program materials. Coordinates the logistical details of several programs and special events. Compiles data, produces reports and oversees the preparation of any mailings.
REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED and three years of office environment experience.
Basic understanding of centralized information systems including data entry and report generation. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Web search tools. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Well organized, give close attention to details and be able to handle many and varied tasks at a time. Able to handle confidential information, greet visitors, and be a team player.
Some knowledge of IU environment. Some weekends and evening work during In-residences.
