Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Location: Hyde Park Campus
1)Database Construction â“ designing and constructing databases to facilitate the efficient storage, modification, and retrieval of study data
2)Lab and Study Related User Interfaces â“ designing, constructing, and maintaining data entry interfaces (e.g. MS Access forms, Excel worksheets, etc.) to assist in data collection procedures
3)Online Surveys and Websites â“ creating functional and aesthetically pleasing online surveys, maintaining and modifying surveys as needed, regularly extracting data and incorporating it into the larger database, maintaining lab and study websites
4)Data Preparation â“ cleaning, organizing, and formatting large data sets based on lab preferred formatting guidelines
5)Data Management Supervision â“ providing oversight and suggestions to research team in identifying opportunities for data collection improvement, training research staff on data management procedures, providing regular lab in-services, conducting regular fidelity checks
1)Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2)Excellent attention to detail.
3)Website design and maintenance experience.
4)Ability to effectively work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team.
5)Ability to present and prepare presentations.
6)Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
