Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Under the direction of the PI and Research Associate, the RA will execute experiments which have been outlined. Primary responsibilities include cell culture (direct conversion to neurons and differentiation and maintenance of human iPSC, astrocytes, and neurons), small molecule screening, cloning, RNA extraction, qPCR, Westerns, and various biochemical assays such as ELISA.
Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences or biochemistry.
Master's Degree in biological sciences or biochemistry.
Must be willing to work with human cells and complete all appropriate associated training.
Must be willing to work an adjusted schedule to support research needs.
Must be willing to work in animal-related research environment.
Successful completion of the Institute's background investigation.
Position requires constant seeing, adjusting focus, and working inside.
