Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applications for a 0.80 FTE clinical assistant/associate professor position in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Comprehensive Care. The department's vision includes strengthening the transition of students as they progress from pre-clinic to clinic in their educational development. Expectations of the position include didactic and clinical instruction in the provision of comprehensive dental care at the pre-doctoral level; participation in the pre-doctoral comprehensive care courses; and, performing services necessary to implement the educational programs and academic objectives of the department. Additional expectations consist of scholarly activity as well as engagement in service at the department, school and university levels.

Requirements: Current Indiana dental license, or eligibility to obtain dental licensure in the State of Indiana, completion of a PGY1 in general dentistry (AEGD or GPR) and experience in teaching within the areas noted above.
Preferred qualifications include experience and education in an appropriate field of study such as the biological/biomedical sciences, business, public health or education.
