Position: Tenure Track Faculty – Music Technology Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience Appointment: Effective August 2020
Responsibilities: Serve as the principle faculty charged with research and instruction in audio recording and related technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in sound recording and audio engineering. Other potential areas of expertise, for both instruction as well as research interests, could include psychoacoustics, audio spatialization, music perception and cognition, music information retrieval, multimedia production, or live performance audio.
The Department of Music and Arts Technology is uniquely situated in the School of Engineering and Technology and features multiple laboratories for audio engineering, acoustics, and telematic teaching and research. The department offers NASM-accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees in music technology and music therapy. There is ample opportunity for collaboration with other departments within the School of Engineering and Technology and across our growing campus.

PhD or equivalent with an established track record in audio recording and related technology or other areas of music technology related to the responsibilities listed above.
