The Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership at Duquesne University's School of Education looks to fill a Clinical Professor in Quantitative Statistics at the non-tenure track Assistant Professor level. The candidate would be required to have the knowledge and skills to teach novice learners as well as seasoned learners of advanced statistics. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and will include a 12-month salary. Responsibilities associated with this position may include teaching 24 credits per year:
Statics 1 focuses on basic statistical research concepts, including graphical displays of data, standardized scores, normal distribution, hypothesis testing, correlation, one-way ANOVA using SPSS, and chi-square analysis.
Statistics 2 focuses on analysis of variance, post hoc analysis, multiple regression, repeated measures, and multiple regression.
Statistic 3 focuses on multivariate statistics and lab work using statistical software.
Statistics 4 includes statistical modeling, factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and logistic regression that revolve around application driven course work that is intended to make improvements in the field.
An earned doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Quantitative Statistics.
A minimum of three years' experience teaching in a higher education setting.
