The Palumbo Donahue School of Business Administration at Duquesne University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in Supply Chain Management, beginning Fall 2021. An applicant with an MBA or relevant master's degree would be appointed as an Instructor, while an applicant with a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field would be appointed as an Assistant Professor of Practice. Responsibilities include a base teaching load of eight (4-4 load) three-credit-hour classes per year at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as service to the department, school and/or university.
Applicants who are able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Supply Chain Management are welcome and encouraged to apply. Additional knowledge in Supply Management/Purchasing would be beneficial. Also, we are especially interested in candidates who, through their teaching and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of Duquesne's academic community.

The AACSB-accredited Palumbo-Donahue School of Business has approximately 1500 undergraduate and graduate students. We launched a Center of Excellence in Supply Chain Management in Fall 2018 to promote collaboration among faculty, students, and the business community. In addition, students have the opportunity to earn certifications in Lean Six Sigma, SAP, and Transportation Management within their Supply Chain Management courses.
