The IU Alumni Association (IUAA) brings more than 725,000 IU graduates together to support one another and Indiana University throughout their lives. The IUAA activates IU's powerful global network through live events, webinars, chartered alumni communities, scholarship programs, and seriously fun traditions. The association is a membership organization that connects alumni, students, and friends through communications, activities, programs, and services. Additionally, it develops and supports volunteer leadership, serves as a voice for alumni as the university evolves, and provides lifelong learning opportunities.
As part of a larger marketing team, this position works with other designers, writers, and staff members to conceptualize, propose, research, and produce design solutions that market, promote, and communicate IU's advancement mission while adhering to IU brand guidelines.
The graphic designer develops design concepts to engage IU alumni audiences, offering rationale to support design decisions. Creates images, graphics, and layouts for IUAA's content channels in both print and digital spaces.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, or a related field.

Two years of experience in the fields of advertising, marketing, or closely related work. We work in a Mac environment, and we are looking for high proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Experience with interactive media, video creation, publishing digital assets, HTML coding, and print production pre-flight skills is ideal.
