ENVIRONMENTAL RESILIENCE INSTI (UA-ERI-IUBLA)
The mission of the Environmental Resilience Institute (ERI) is to increase resilience to environmental change in Indiana and the Midwest by accurately predicting impacts and effectively partnering with communities to implement feasible, equitable, and research-informed solutions. While the threat of environmental change is one which has concerning implications for all forms of life on this planet, we recognize that environmental justice is especially linked to systemic racism. The Graphic Designer will work in coordination with the Communications & Outreach Manager to create visual communications that convey messages to further ERI's mission. These products may include infographics, social media graphics, fact sheets, brochures, posters, signs, annual reports, and other marketing collateral.
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
Strong graphic design skills. Creative. Ability to problem-solve. Ability to work independently. Demonstrated attention to detail.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Interest in environmental change and related topics.
Working Conditions / Demands
This position is currently remote based. Applicants will need to demonstrate technology and system access to the following:
A high-speed, stable internet connection.
A quiet, private work environment.
$12.00 per hour for undergraduates. $15.00 per hour for graduate students.
