Manages online operations for Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Student Life, including but not limited to Intranet oversight, SiteCore management, Weekly Digest, Canvas resource support and listserv monitoring.
Supports and executes operational tasks for quarterly new student orientations.
Advises, supports, and recommends concepts for programming to leaders of social and activity student groups.
Oversees the weekend experience and operations, including communications, contracts, and payments, transportation experience and Saturday coffee service.
Maintains responsibility for planning, reserving space, and organizing Student Life and partner program events, including but not limited to bi-quarterly socials, small group dinners, Booth 20/20, quarterly graduations events, Family Picnic, and Magnificent Mile.
Works with senior associate director and associate director on support for all student life accounts; tracks expenses and communicates current and projected status as necessary.
Manages part-time Student Life inventory, assists with ordering and processing payments.
Completes special projects for Student Life as assigned.
Coordinates with the students and staff to develop activities, programs, and initiatives related to student life, and/or community involvement. Develops and implements straightforward programming.
Markets student activities programming throughout the year. Develops and implements protocols for evaluating the effectiveness of programs.
Performs other related work as needed.
A minimum two years of experience working with students, planning extracurricular activities, or working in an educational environment.
A minimum two years of experience managing projects or programs.
Bookkeeping or budget management experience.
Proven abilities to work on several projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Proven ability and commitment to working in a team environment.
Consistently meet deadlines, problem solve, exercise good judgment, and work under pressure during seasonal high volume.
Proven ability to multi-task and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor, including tact, discretion, and a customer service-oriented approach to the job.
9:30 a.m. â“ 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as the regular schedule with every third or fourth week shifting to a 5-day work week that includes a Saturday shift from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Late night office coverage (10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) two or three times per month.
Various other weekend and nights as needed (on average 6 nights/quarter and 5 Saturdays/quarter).
Work extended hours, as needed.
