The jobholder supervises HVAC Technician II's and I's and the PM Technician for all college facilities at all campuses; schedules and assigns work; inspects completed work for compliance with college standards and local and State building codes; assigns and ensures timely completion of all incoming HVAC Maintenance service requests; assists with other assignments as directed by the Director of Physical Plant; evaluates assigned personnel and makes recommendations for promotion/disciplinary actions to the Director of Physical Plant; supervises contracted services for HVAC and small renovation projects and reports progress/issues to the Director of Physical Plant; procures and keeps inventory of needed materials and equipment for daily HVAC Maintenance activities; coordinates work of supervised personnel with faculty/staff to minimize disruption to college activities and work flow; and ensures the department provides the utmost customer service to the end users.
